Man, you would have to pay me to use that thing.
Can you imagine, going to the field and having to answer everyone one by one that you bought it and don't know where it really came from or what the majority of the phrases are there for?

This is hilarious! I just woke up the wife laughing. Maybe that's where the value lies, conversation starter!Gas, Grass or Brass, no one rides for free...Comment

I mean if you are fine being known as the field moron who buys other people's inside jokes even though you don't understand them.
Then sure yes, it's a great conversation starter
I don't know what body that was before it started but really to me it doesn't matter, someone completely ruined it.
Long time ago there was someone local to me trying to sell a race cocker. Problem was it was minied, half blocked and even the sides were milled down to cut some weight. It really wasn't a race cocker anymore but the guy was trying to sell it for race cocker prices
To me, you don't own a race cocker at that point. You own something that USED to be a race cocker
Same with this, it USED to be something else so it's not worth anywhere near the $400 pricetag

That lettering is engraved- milled, really. And since the body has been milled down to bare minimums as it is, there's basically no way to remove it without making the walls paper-thin.
Highest and best use is to cover the body with gaffer tape and just tell everybody it's a parts-box junker you threw together. Or fill the letters with epoxy and paint, Cerakote or hydrodip.
