Saw that earlier today, I can't imagine what it's for. Could it be for tank balancing, or maybe someone just wanted more CO2 capacity for some reason?

I imagine you have to have both partially screwed in and then screw them in simultaneously?

These were mostly used to bleed liquid co2 into an empty tank to expand.... You'd screw an empty three oz tank on the front and something else in the back

I believe this might be an old Lapco product. They used to make a small handful of dodads for dual tank setups.

If you have at least one on/off valve it's perfectly safe. We used to build these double tank setups with a pair of Lapco drop forwards. Usually ended up on RT A5's that were used for very large scenario games, usually with one 20oz and a 16oz. The pressure would equalize between the two full tanks, and they'd drain at the same rate. That's just the way CO2 works, it doesn't matter the shape of the tank, or if it's split into 2 or 3 or even 4 smaller tanks, it treats it as one large tank.

Can't seem to find the picture I had. I'll post it if I find it.
