      I mean after the first 6 or so, you would think the owner would realize the barrels are not making much difference

          i suspect the naughty dogs NXT is cocker threaded and they had a bunch of old cocker barrels.. those BOA's predate that shocker by a decade

                  It might have been someone who just bought up old barrels when they popped up for reasonable prices. That’s the only thing that would explained the glued teardrop and all the BOAs.

                  Im sure we are all guilty of it….. I mean I’m looking for phantom barrels just because. Even though I have a freaked barrel and don’t need any.
