I have used a Darkside in some pump games. Since the internal hopper is flat on the bottom, there are feed issues, especially when the number of balls is low. It's like one of those old Cracker Jack toys where you have to get the BB to roll into the clown's nose. A simple rock and cock will not do. On the other hand, it is fun to play with.

I feel like i would just hulk smash it into pieces on accident playing with it. It 'looks' entirely plastic and i am entirely prone to disaster.

I have 1 of each. The Mark 1 is an internal 12 gram. The Mark 2 has the ASA. I used the Mark 2 in the pump game. It was fun and unpredictable. It was surprisingly accurate for a fixed plastic barrel.
