I've seen one used on the field (not that exact one but a "flame thrower")
It's a bad idea
What happens is the paint/water runs into the vents on top of players masks and coats the inside of their lens then they are blinded trying to get off the field.
It got banned from Oregon supergame for good reason

The paintball flame thrower is a great way to piss even the the most level headed player off.
I built one for a local game used it for exactly 20 minutes and nearly got thrown out
Was it effective? Absolutely.... Used it to take back a key insertion point from around 50 blues crew players single handedly.
Was everyone mad? Also absolutely..... I had 10 gallons of orange paint fill to use that i spiked with a scent from bath and body works. Effective range of around 50 feet. It was effective at elimination and angering everyone in the base.
Just add a ramrod barrel to a full auto electronic gun.

Master Jar-Jar
Seen a few used in games. From refillable fire extinguishers to hand-pumped plant sprayers.
Never a pressure washer though.
Mine used a modified nozel attachment from one..
The rest was a modded aluminum gas tank and pair of maxflows stepping 3000psi to 400 then 400 to 90. All mounted to a scuba rig..... It was heavy but 20 something year old me didn't care. Ha!
