Simunition goggles, helmet and face protection

I'm not sure why I'm surprised, but these don't appear to be reinforced paintball goggles at all and have a lot more cushioning and overall protection.

I shudder to think what these things cost the taxpayers new.

they are probably used with soap bullets. i think is what they are called. if you zoom in you can kinda see the cartridges used with those goggles. we used those in the Navy for simulation

Yeah, zooming in on the manual it says "For use in FX interactive training with 9mm, .38, or 5.56 simulation FX marking cartridges ONLY. Do not use with any other type of caliber or ammunition"

I wouldnt try it with paintballs

Had one of these...you had to be Military or Law Enforcement to be able to buy them. LUKE (RIP) helped me buy a set back in 2011. I had Thyroid surgery and wanted to be able to play during my recovery and absolutely NOTHING had better throat protection than these. I had to mod the mask to use JT goggles as the standard lense in it wasn't rated for paintballs, the field of view was tiny and they fogged up badly. New they were only around $100 if I remember correctly
