Heh, make the heaviest marker even heavier- that's almost as bad as a Thunder Dave triple-bottle kit. (20-oz backbottle, 20 oz bottomline and a 10-oz out the front- [i]three pounds of just CO2! Enough to shoot almost a full hopper!
)
As an aside, see that angled front adapter thing? I invented that.
Okay, more accurately, I drew a sketch of a version of that, back around... maybe '91? The first semiauto I had was a PMI-3, and I wanted to be able to use a 20-oz on it. (I have no idea why I didn't get a backbottle setup- I probably couldn't afford it.
) So one day I sketched up almost that exact adapter. I still have the drawing somewhere, I probably last saw it fifteen years ago or more...
'Course, back then I had no way to make such a thing, let alone mass produce it. BUT... it wasn't long after that- may have been the same summer, even- I saw that, identical to my drawing, show up in the latest APG.
No, it wasn't a case of "you bastards, you stole my idea!", it was more like "cool, somebody actually made one!"... and... there was an early inkling that, y'know, if I took some of these other ideas I've had.... under the right conditions I might actually be able to make a little money off this kind of thing.
