Can anyone tell me more about the barrels with o-ring ball detents? Sold that way? Or did a machine shop do it? Are they worth anything?

Those are the gems out of the box to me. I love the machining work to create the o-ring detent and it's honestly genius. I'll try them at the field this weekend but I imagine they work great and there's no risk of anything breaking like I've seen happen with 3D printed barrel detents.

I'm in love with those barrels 🥰🥰🥰 I love unique AND functional stuff like that 👍😎
Autocockers for life! Primarily a rec ball autococker player but I dabble in speedball with a Planet Eclipse Geo4 or a few of my electronic autocockers. Local to Phoenix, AZ

I remember chatting about this a little while ago on here. I want to say Superman had more info on it. I have a Pro Team Products that has a similar cut. Forest told me it was a prototype they tried to solve the roll out problem, but it didn't work like they wanted. I tried it but it just didn't seem to make a difference. I think the ball sits in front of the oring when it is loaded.

I am not aware of any barrels that were marketed with the feature.

I think the original azodin kp barrel had the oring cut in it for rollouts

I had some BOA barrels that had the oring detent. I've always thought it was a great idea. Unsure if done at the factory or done after the fact.

That was a specific thing that they offered early on
