A year or two ago I shot an old blind Excalibur and I really liked it. I would love to pick one up if I could get it cheap... but geez... that one looks like my dog has been chewing on it.
Check out my YouTube channel for overview videos of the WGP Karnivor and WGP Orracle!
I've wanted a Blind Excalibur for a while to run with a good force feed hopper, always like the Excalibur. I know Vikings are faster but hell you rarely get me to pull the trigger 3 times in 10 seconds so wasted on me

lizardking132 Yeah Vikings and Excalibers are not for everybody. I personally would take one of them over an Ego or GTek or whatever any day. They are machined with so tight tolerances the only maintenance is adding a few drops of oil before each time you play. Their regs are top notch and consistent.

I think you're exaggerating just a bit lol. If you would take an AKA brick over an Ego/LV then you're the reason that they are bidding up to insane levels.
Sure, they are pretty reliable in terms of just being a poppet gun but at the same time they are incredibly complex guns (especially Excals) and impossible to work on without special tools and a whole host of different o-rings. Not to mention the parts are nearly impossible to get anymore and what is available is spotty at best from Jared at DC.
AKA guns are just nostalgia traps. They are the guns we all wanted when we started balling, nothing more nothing less. They aren't objectively good guns in comparison to modern guns, just useable. They are easily on par with DM3 matrices or or Gen3 intimidators but they are boutique so they bring a premium.
That's what I understand when I see higher prices compared to other guns of the same year and design, I'm sure they work great but if you want something the same year and design you could easily pick up an angel for cheaper then what the aka tri tubes go for, that's what I get from all of it
No, I'm NOT exaggerating. I will gladly take an AKA Excaliber or Viking over a POS Ego any day. I will believe the truth about them; not non fact based blasphemy. You can believe whatever you want to about them. I might give you a participation trophy.
He posted about it to the AKA owners group on FB. Everyone is annoyed they are even on ebay. Those guns go in a matter of minutes whenever they get posted in the group. People simply don't get rid of them very often
