Little high on the price especially considering mis-matched front block and a non-original frame. Beautiful build but definitely not worth asking. I sold my S5 with 86* frame for $950 a few months ago. Pretty hard cap at $1k unless the gun is some crazy anno or special edition.

TBH now I'm looking at it again it's an awesome player's build. Just not collectible in terms of CCM stuff. Would buy but that price is still optimistic.

Shocking when you add it all up! also not including the shipping and tax I paid on a lot of these parts. This marker was built this for me, not looking to flip or make money on it. I was asked to list the marker, and I would like to break even. I love building autocockers, so if someone will enjoy it, i'll go hunt and build another one. Also, CCM S5's are wildly under valued. Hands down one of the nicest autocockers to shoot.

S5's aren't under valued they cost like 700+ they pull what they are worth. They were 400 dollars retail when I was using them.

But yeah cockers cost a lot of money to piece together with expensive parts thats why people buy emeks.

A realistic sell would more like 750-850 imo

would make more money parting like all non collectible builds

haha! and a J2 was $575. those prices are just for nostalgia and never to bee seen again.

                "Series 5 Semi-Auto

This is a great entry into an autococking marker. Warrantied for life, just like everything that we make. Utilizes many of the same components as the J2. The main difference between the Series 5 is mainly a matter of aesthetics, and weight.
So, if a 'sleeper' is your style, then check out the Series 5. Proudly made in the USA, and the quality shows. Comes in dust black, with polished pneumatics.
Each of the components is hand tested and inspected to ensure the highest performance and fit. Now shipping with the Smart Parts Progressive 12" (subject to change)

                Great price!............................................ ......................$475.00"

I measure better fit and finish from CCM than many of their competitors selling the same thing for $1600+

if a clean "sleeper" is your thing then this is probably the king of that.

I'm not trying to say that a CCM gun is worth its 2005 retail price. The Series 5's and all CCM cockers blew the doors off the 1300 dollar orrracles they were competing against. It was night and day. They were better in every way. I'm glad they are appreciated today more than they were back then.

For this item on ebay its higher priced than well restored stockers and the stock frame and pneumatics are worth more and harder to find what is on this gun.

On the ebay section of MCB it is usually used to share good deals but sometimes to just look at something cool or criticize a hilariously bad add, so please don't take any of this stuff as personal attacks I don't care who's selling this and if they were asking a billion dollars it wouldn't make me think they were some kinda jerkwad or anything. If this was posted in the BST section I would simply make no comment but since its on ebay its open to criticism.

I hope it sells for asking price, for the sellers sake. It doesn't bother me when someone makes a profit it actually makes me happy. I've just seen stock restored guns sell for less than 800 and recently so it makes me think this one is quite high.

But yeah, part out price it all pencils out.
