Green 32 Degrees PT Xtreme With Holster

Missing the velocity screw and the main spring.

I had one of these, not the green one, but a PT-Xtreme back in the day. What would you like to know about them? Even when they were new, they were a little over $100.00

Green ones don't turn up often. Neither do the red ones

What's typical for how many shots you can expect from a 12g?

Rebuildable? Main Springs, Detents, Cup Seals, Pierce Seals?

About what you can expect from a 1st generation Spyder. It is more or less designed on that platform. You would loose velocity really quick on a 12 gram. I basically just blocked off the front with an empty 12 gram, and ran a bottom line to a ASA, and put a little 2oz CO2 bottle on the back.

Define rebuildable. The barrel is plastic with the threads to attach it in the back. The guts are based on Spyder parts, so you could mostly rebuild and modify with those parts. Early on 32 Degrees sold a PM kit for the PT-Xtreme, which included several O-rings, replacement hammer, replacement main spring, replacement screws, and the all important replacement detent. The detent is garbage. It was a little piece of material made out of something worst than silicon, basically a little pin to hold the ball. Considering the huge bore diameter of the barrel, the barrel is more of a suggestion than a proper diameter. The stock main spring wis horrible, and I ended up getting a set of the color coded 4 springs kit to fix it. The velocity adjuster and set screw is more of a suggestion. I ended up finding the right spring and used a penny behind the main spring in the spring and hammer retention piece. That gave me just at around 260fps. You can use a spyder cup seal. I was never able to pull the pierce seal and discovered that it is so horrible to run off of a 12 gram that, as I posted earlier I converted it to run off of a CO2 bottle. As I said this thing is really based on the old Spyder design. At first I wanted to completely remove and plug the 12gram side so it would be easier to pull from a holster. That turned into a complete mess. I discovered that the screw between the trigger frame and 12 gram is a cap to the air path. So all I did is take an empty 12 gram to plug up the 12 gram side. I tighten down the 12-gram removal lever so that the 12 gram would not fall out. That probably put more than normal ware on that pierce seal, but I do not plan on it having to pierce 12 grams. I ran a 1/8" nipple steel braided hose line from that bolt in the body to a bottomline ASA kit for a Spyder. Interestingly enough the screw hole in the bottom of the PT-Xtreme are offset and are the same thread as the Spyders, so the ASA bottom fit perfect. I used generic parts instead of branded Spyder/Java, etc.part and it all worked. I just ran it with a 2oz CO2 bottle, of course the bloody thing was back heavy slapping against my leg, but when you pick it up to shoot, the bottle braces against the bottom of your arm perfectly. Like I said the barrel is terrible, so you are not going to be accurate, however, as a back-up gun and you are really close, you might get in a decent shot, after the first two balls roll out.

              Hope this helps.
