Are these any good or are they just fun to mess around with? I imagine it's not too difficult to convert this to be stock class legal

In my opinion they are more fun to mess around with than anything. They are fun to mod but their practicality on the field is pretty limited.

This is speaking in generalities as I know there are exceptions to everything I'm about to say but, all the Zeus pistols typically have a hard time getting to full velocity, I had a pt Xtreme that topped out at 265, typically the barrels are part of the body and they were made in the big paint days so there's lots of gas escaping around the paint. The mags are almost impossible to find these days and they are not a great design as is. Get the old one off, align and snap on the new one and typically the only way to prevent them from dropping paint out while you run around is to flip the feed plug so you have to rotate that so it can feed into the marker, most people also don't like the mag to be under spring tension while at rest so you also have to release the spring so it will push the rest of the paint into the marker.

I found it was easier to leave the mag on the marker, remove and reload with 10rd tubes through the feed plug.

They are gas hogs, at best I was getting 20 shots per 12g, and that's not always 20, sometimes it was 15.

All that aside, if one was in a lot of gear I purchased I'd still be happy, they are really fun to tinker with and I think had a good spot in the sport in the mid 2000s but someone must have made bank selling the design to absolutely everyone. I have not been able to find a list of all the manufacturers/models of these, the Internet has seemingly lost that knowledge but it's so many that this model above, I had no idea existed until this thread was made.

They also ware out with use unfortunately. But for $100 play with them till they can’t be repaired then keep the spring feed for other projects. Wish they had extra “mags”

Might be fun to print up / make a mag adapter to a Phantom pistol setup.

They are semi so you couldn’t use them in SC technically. + the spring feed. But they are definitely fun. I have never got my hands on a new one. They have always come to me broken in need of a fix. Sometimes it’s easy as a good cleaning and oil it up. Others the marker is worn out and is junk.

I was thinking of taking the spring feed out, and then if it's just a STBB like a spyder it should be possible to just take the hammer o-ring off and then either make it bolt action or something else

Ive been wanting one of these for a while. The manufacturer mostly makes airsoft replicas and their madmax double barrel shotguns are very good. The only thing that has stoped me ordering one is that i am worried about the packaging and manuals that may or may not come with them. If you go on the manufacturers website they are marketing them as riot control guns not paintball markers. I live in the United Kingdom so if one goes through customs/ boarder force and it has packaging and litriture talking about riot control or home defence etc then it gets confiscated, destroyed and i get a knock on the door from the police. If anyone on here buys one please post pictures of the box and every thing that comes with it. I'm 39 now but when i was a teenager i worked for years as a paintball marshal and carried a zeus g2. I have fond memories of me and my fellow marshales taking pop shots at each other across the fields whilst running the games with these. A lot of the others also had delt 68's. Unfortunatly 2nd hand zeus pistols are very hard to come by in the UK. ive been looking for years. If i could just see the packaging first i might take a gamble and order one.

If anyone grabs one of these, and is familiar with the Armotech Zeus platform, could you share if any of the parts are able to be swapped out? I still like my Zeus quite a bit, but it's definitely shown its age.

I'd bet it would depend on what parts you are looking for. Most of the Zeus pistols had some parts compatibility but not all parts were swappable

Springs, valves, maybe the bolt, etc. I know there's minor differences across these things with threading, mainspring retention, etc.

I'm shocked that you can still buy variants of this pistol. I used to have a pair of Warsensor Zeus's, though they had their problems they were also a lot of fun.

We should make a list of all the Zeus pistols and how they were equipped. I swear every time it's brought up someone mentions one I've never heard of
