Am I out of touch with reality or missing something
Looks like a hacked up Eclipse cocker to me with a custom anno..definitely not worth the asking (in my opinion) but I'm also not an expert. Most folks prefer all of the original parts with their more rare cockers and for it to be in original condition..that doesn't look to be the case on this one. Also that looks to be a 2k4 body or something thereabouts..definitely not a PE.
How can he say “Very clean rare marker” when there is lot of little marks around the trigger and regulator
Freedom of speech protects stupidity as well
You guys are not wrong, really the anno and e2 are the only things that increase the value. The real problem is if you replace the damaged reg and frame is not going to match the marker and good luck anno matching that thing
I didn't look at the details but based on what I see and expect from internals
6-800

Ok so I not out of touch. I’ve seen a rise in cocker prices but these home half blocked/turtled bodies with eblades trying to be sold at 1300+ is very unrealistic to me. Most, if you’re lucky, will sell like posted above. Even custom annos I don’t feel add any value since it’s a preference thing. Thanks for all the posts and helping me from my uncontrolled psychotic laughter.
Could not agree more with the anno. Some of my confusion is that the serial number is 180571 and has a WGP stamp in it. From a loose knowledge that would be 2003ish. The lines of the body look a lot like a prostock body. All things considered the value of it would based on value of parts on and installed. Hence my confusion with these ungodly over priced autocockers. If the actual value of the parts warrants the high price, including rarity of some parts, then ask the high price. Again this is not the only cut up, high priced cocker on that auction website.

I'm pretty sure you are correct, 2k3 or 4. Geez I just assumed it was a PE body.
In that case this is more like $400-500 in my books

4-5 would be a lot more reasonable, i have deep suspicions of anyone selling a home made half block like that and has exactly ZERO pictures of the top of the slot to show if the back block has rubbed on it and how much wear there is
