You are correct sir, should have this stubby pump on it.

I sent the seller a message concerning the pump length this morning. He stated he pulled the auction until he figures it out I guess. It's still beautiful either way.

Yes it is a beautiful set up worth picking up. That is if he comes down to a reasonable price lol.

For all anyone knows, the original purchaser could have had a shop swap the small pointman pump for a regular pump handle from another gun when it was purchased. Its easy enough to do. Might have wanted to short barrel and other features but the full sized pump. Who knows.

For me I just think the name is cool and its fun to look for rarer stuff.

So the pump is the wrong length (easy to swap the arms off the handle) and the barrel on the gun is too long. If you look at sugarstump's (Hi Dale!) image the excess barrel sticking out past the end of the pump handle looks to be the same amount sticking out on the ebay gun. I'm thinking that's like a 10" barrel rather than an 8"... Or 12 and 10. I can't remember what the pointman came with, it's been too long.
