I gotta know, are Lapco's really that good? I've always been hard pressed to spend more than X for a marker, but, they've always intrigued me as I've never seen one sold for cheap.
I could have sworn I had something important to put here...

Not sure, but imo the internal finish on their barrels is second to none. If the ghost is made by the same srandards, Id assume every part is machined from billet. And or tolerances are really tight on them, so fit and finish is likely top notch.

Im in the same boat though, never have been in a position to buy one, but always been intruiged.

They are really smooth. That side-cocking action makes them a lot less clunky than the pump stroke of a phantom. The main downside is they really function best a VSC with way less customization compared to the phantom.

If you are into Nelson based markers you can not get better quality then the LAPCO produced versions. Fit, Finish, Functionality and Reliability is there in everyone (that has been well cared for as a caveat). I have never been disappointed in either the old school or "new" school LAPCO markers and/or parts I have purchased. Personally I like them better then CCI not to say CCI is inferior because they are not but definitely have a preference for LAPCO markers. Admittedly I am biased as I fell in love with the original Grey Ghost/Grey Spirit decades ago.

Hello! This is my post. Sad for it to go on ebay but it has been on MCB for the past few months and my wife is making me purge a few markers.
    If anyone is interested

I would much rather it go to MCB!
