I couldn't fathom spending that much on that now.... Wow
But you were around long enough to remember back when everything in paintball was made by a machine shop local to SOME actually interested paintballer. There wasn't a lot of high volume junk out there yet so if you saw a sick drop for 70 bucks at a store that's just what it cost. Today there are more functional guns and drop forwards and ASA's than paintballers 10 fold, back then that wasn't the case!
The sickest drop I remember ever seeing was the Rock N Roll cradle. I had one at least once (well after the point where they were obsolete) but they were just so trick!
If paintball ever became a respectable sport, new old stock stuff from the history with packaging and all will be worth money. I wouldn't put my money on that ever happening but stupid stuff like a drop forward from back in the day with the hand made home printed packaging is sort of the rarest part of our history.
