No, but certain re-sellers would try and sell that AKA reg adjuster cap for $100+ on its own. When in reality they have little value. Yes, the wgp stock reg is a good reg, and being able to adjust it externally? Nice. Is it worth more then the cost of replacing it with something like a CP reg? No. If your trying to keep stock look you don't want it, and if you do not care about keeping it stock you have plenty of options. -
The AKA reg caps are sought after by people completing some VLM builds to get them back to period correct builds too though. While some people might not like them, they were used on some Black Widows in the past and they weren’t made in any abundance and don’t come up very often
