WOW. I remember thinking these were so cool when they came out. Hard to justify spending more than I paid for my last car, though.

It is insane the amount these bring. I had one that I used for a couple of days(gloss purple and silver) and it was honestly way worse of a pump gun than my T2. It looks cool and the internal cocking vs a slot is neat, but they just never felt as nice as the other offerings for a premium price. I sold that one for around $1800 in 2015 and thought that was an eff you amount of money.

I felt the same way glad I shot one before I dropped $2500 on one at the time. They look cool but they just didn’t have that CCM feel. Kind of wish I got on the list for one new just to have. But at the current collection price I have no desire for one. It’s just not good enough to warrant that.

Sad part is, I had custom made reg testers for these and for the life of me can't find them. I sent one to Rod back in the day when they were still called "J 11"s and he might have the only one. Anodized black to match the one I had. I'll keep searching and if I come across them, anyone with a J12 can have one.

What makes this gun so expensive?

When they were originally released there were a few test guns J11's then there was a short production run (40-50guns). That was all. There was a wait list of the markers that was started and apparently cost to much produce and were not produced again.
