    Description:
"This is an auction of approximately two Brass Eagle Rainmaker paintball markers, plus some spare parts.

If you are a masochist, expert airsmith, or someone who just wants the Sisyphean task of running and maintaining a vintage not-entirely-good design paintball marker, this auction is for you. When running, these markers are unbelievably loud and obnoxious and fairly slow-cycling. They make a SCHLOCK-SCHLOCK-SCHLOCK sound guaranteed to fascinate onlookers and annoy teammates. They use a prodigious amount of air even when not leaking. They are fairly annoying to tear down for cleaning and service, and all of the exposed parts are guaranteed to collect paint and shell fragments.

The assembled marker is *probably* complete, though I'm sure it has half a dozen places where it is leaking air. It features:
    • Several "Mad Marty" mods done by me (narrowed valve stem, hammer de-binding mods, possibly others I can't remember)
    • Delrin bolt (see pictures)
    • Aluminum Pro Team Products foregrip/solenoid mount
    • Evil Detonator HPR
    • Autococker LPR
    • Gutted stock HPR and LPR
    • Bimba pneumatic cylinder (slightly less friction than stock Brass Eagle one)
    • Stainless hardline between foregrip and stock reg
    • Single-trigger grip frame
    • Aluminum Brass Eagle barrel
    • heavier, shorter, louder Taso Power Barrel
    • Free-flying 9V battery lead so you can duct-tape it to the foregrip or regulator like an OG
    • Nifty plastic Brass Eagle branded marker box with not-too-gross foam inserts
The pile of parts might be sufficient to construct a second *stock* Rainmaker which is a uniquely infuriating and frustrating experience.

    Also included:
    • A second spare Evil Detonator HPR
    • Sheridan RG-1 HPR which better matches the marker vintage
    • Delrin bolt of unknown make and provenance
    • Nifty Brass Eagle Rainmaker retail box with slightly gross foam
    • Interestingly machined upper block to take different detents and a threaded feedneck. Possibly-compatible feedneck included.
    • Brass Eagle Raptor parts kit

Rainmakers take Autococker-threaded barrels, a 9V battery, and should be run on High Pressure Air only.

I am selling all of this AS-IS and For Parts or Not Working. You will certainly need to expend some time and probably money to get either of these markers up and running."

    Great description there.

I see the PTP VA. Are Rainmakers reverse threaded at that location?

I was hoping you all would like that description; I had this place in mind when I wrote it up.

Since putting up the listing, I've assembled most of a stock Rainmaker from the Pile o' Parts with the exception of wiring and pneumatics and fresh o-rings. So there should be a complete bone-stock Rainmaker there in addition to the modded-up one.

I don't remember any reverse threads on Rainmakers; the hunk of metal the VA screws into is a combination front air block and solenoid valve mount. I'm 93% sure that the air block just had 1/8 NPT female threads in it, so the VA is probably just 1/8 NPT male.
