          they're HEAVY, easily the heaviest buckle i own. I've tried impression recasting it but the deep details have thwarted my efforts

            The green stuff.

              I've used molds for other casting projects, but ultimately i'm a cheap bastard and use clay impression for molds on one-off and short run projects. I get great detail, but deep details like the relief areas of the buckle cling to the clay

              As the Repo Rubber dries, it shrinks back slightly so it is easier to remove.
              I've used for some projects that were deep cavities and it worked well.
              I agree this would be a tough one either way.
