No idea what the history or value of these carters are but I figure someone here might be interested

Oh.. That was me. I didn't see this until after I bought it though. Thanks for thinking of me though!

I have an all silver one were all the anno was removed or never had it. I wanted one with the classic colors on it.

Nice snag, I am not well versed in Carters but that seemed like a good price. Looks like it's in good condition also.

Cal440 I'm thinking it was the same price as the last one I purchased. Probably the going price for tricars. They are not removable barrels and fairly large bore if I remember correctly. Not ideal for modern play. Though I figured with this one I can work on customizing my other one that isn't as "stock"

Thanks for the info I picked up a Carter trigger frame and rail a while ago and I hope to build something around that.

Always liked the look of the Tri-Cars; just something simple and elegant about it.

Whoa these have gone up in price. I remember finding one of these through local classifieds around 2012 or something, I believe it even held air and cycled when I test fired it before reselling it here.

These are great - First marker I was given/bought in 1991. Still have mine <3
I think the sound of them cocking and firing is burned into my lizard brain.
Mine still stock like the one pictured, though a bit more worn.

Wish paint was big enough these days for it to play nice
