Grabbed a set as i have a ton of ions/tippmans needing grips, anyone tried dying these? Wonder how well they will take dye and hold up after.

I picked up a box and I have been experimenting with dyeing them. I have only used Rit synthetic black so far. They take the dye well, but they will start to break down in the hot water so you can't leave them in for more than a few mins, or you need to lower the temp and leave them longer. They came out more blue than black on my initial test. I also have quite a bit of transfer even after rinsing them multiple times. I still have some more playing around to do with them to get it right, but at least I have like 20 more to mess around with.
