Every so often I want to recreate the prop guns used in the movie Johnny Mnemonic. The automag used by the villain? Should be easy. The Storm used by the hero? A few rare bit and bobs, but not impossible. The VMs used by some henchmen? Just some light fabrication and it would be screen ready. But that one gun used by a particular henchman...

A rare as heck gun, hacked up and covered in greebles. Building it wouldn't be the problem, but dropping crazy collector money on the base gun just to start drilling on it. Yikes.

I have both the Ace and the Deuce. I figured 1/3 that asking price for the pair.

They are cool but not 2400 cool. The Phoenix operates so much better and has way better usable options for mods. I get the collector might want that but I don’t see the 2400 price tag at all.

I had the opportunity to buy one at 1/3 of that last year and passed. Maybe I should have gotten it I just know I would never use it. I did play some rounds with it and they are fun.
