              I love that you have an owl for a doorman! As a teenager a buddy of mine had a giant spider camped on his porch light for weeks and we would just give it a nod and "hi doorman" on the way in lol

                Screech owl. The are very cool. We had one nest in a tree cavity about 8 feet from the front window at the old house. At the new house they love the pine trees along our front yard along with the red squirrels and green herons.
