Help finding a a large frame for a poster

Got a big 33x46 poster recently and i want to frame it. Looks like a company called snapezo is probably what im gonna end up with. Im pretty sure im gonna be dropping over a $100 for the frame but if anyone knows where i can get possibly a cheaper and nicer looking plastic or metal frame i would greatly appreciate it. Wood is pricey, Marshalls would of charged over $250 to custom make one that size.

Very easy to make yourself if you or someone you know has a chop/miter saw. You can use a piece of molding or other types of wood to make it

      Check out some thrift stores.
I’ve bought plenty of pictures just for their frames, many of which were custom with the framing shop sticker on them.

find local auction and get one that way since picture frames from them go cheap

I was going to say Ikea but it doesn't look like their frames get that big.
I also didn't see any record frames any more (pretty sure they went away a long time ago but still).

33x46 is almost an Arch E sheet size (36x48) which is a standard sheet size. If you don't mind putting a mat around it or leaving some clear space it shouldn't be too bad to find a frame. You should be able to find frame sectionals as well, although 48 might be a little tough based on the few minutes of internet research i just did.

I ordered a frame from pictureframes.com last year and had a good experience. You can order just the frame or get a backing & glazing and they have options for adding a mat if you want. The piece I framed was a super weird size (10.25 x 27.75) so an off-the-rack frame wasn't an easy option. Frame & backing ships to you and the frame needs assembly but they are easy to put together. All you would need is a screwdriver and something to cut the hanging wire with.

If you want to shop locally, check out your local artist supply stores. They frequently have framing supplies, or at the very least can recommend somewhere else to get them.

i trolled a flea market for a large frame. Michaels wanted over $200.
35"x44" is what i found for about $10. my print has a little white space vertically but you'd never know it wasn't supposed to be that way.

I'm with Makeshift, I go to Goodwills frequently and they are typically overwhelmed with picture frames.
