Do we still have the member who supplies orings in the b/s/t? I remember a thread pre hack about it where he was selling pretty much whatever size anyone needed. I had some great purchases from him, but I don't remember his name, or see a thread about it anymore.

You might be thinking of Flasc (or similar)?
If so, I would suggest passing. The last set of cocker rings that I ordered through Amazon from the above seller were the same quality colored rings that O ring monkey and others have. They are inconsistent shit with little tags hanging off of them on the seam. I do not know a good source for quality rings on (most) older markers any longer.

Does no one use ACE/DoitBest/Chain hardware stores?
If its running Co2 I'll pay extra for an "O" ring kit with Urethane, but for literally every single HPA gun I own, that bitch has been completely reworked with "o" rings from the plumbing aisle.
It can be a little annoying because ACE just uses the measurements, not standard sizes, so the package for a #016 "O" ring will say: "O" ring #40, 3/4" O.D. x 5/8" I.D. when in fact it is just a #016. So you pretty much have to have a chart handy to convert to paintball sizes. I always just google one on my phone, page 4 here works well:
https://www.applerubber.com/src/pdf/...ze-o-rings.pdf
This has easily saved me at least a grand in "o" ring kits over the last decade in paintball. Especially with my preference for almost exclusively buying parts guns and beaters. I have noticed no difference in the seals longevity when using HPA, but I suspect Co2 chews threw them a little faster because buna. Still beats just letting the gun hang on a wall though.

Are hardware orings are not labeled the same as any paintball manual that I've owned, like you said. I kinda assumed they were standard size, and that the paintball guns use metric size orings.
Apparently this isn't true?
Whoever it was selling them, sold me good enough quality orings and at a decent price, compared to the colored orings you can get from paintball web sites.

Most paintball guns just use standard American sized "o" rings, there are a lot of exceptions though, like the ION and its derivatives have just one metric seal in the breech and the rest of the "o" rings are American standard. Good rule of thumb would be to look at the parent companies country of origin. Overseas companies (I imagine MacDev, WDP, etc) will have far more metric "O" rings in them. I've noticed a lot of manufactures won't provide sizes in the manuals either, because they are trying to prevent people like me from doing exactly this.
I'm also completely unsure of why ACE won't use the standard labels for them, but I can confirm that if you can "decode" their labeling system using the above linked charts they work, work well, are available cheap, and available pretty much immediately for me because the hardware store is within walking distance of my house. They are also always fresh, not some "NOS mush" that has been sitting in the back of ANS's warehouse for the last 25 years and are all rotted to hell.

Oringstore has urethane o rings but no kits - Honestly though your cheapest option is to build your own there.
Sizes 003-017 cover 95% of markers imo.
Ive rebuilt my maxflo's with their urethane O rings. (Note I only use urethane for the 2 active O rings - right on the poppet sandwich and the tiny 003 oring)
The thing I haven't found a good source for is odd size Urethane metric o rings. Still looking for a source for 2mm cross section 10MM ID O rings for Mini/axe poppets.
