WTB: Ruger SR1911 Commander Lightweight

This may be better in the gun thread, but I lost my green status in the Big Ransom, sadly.

After much consideration, I want a Ruger SR1911 Commander Lightweight in 9mm. I have many handguns in 9mm, and I'd like to keep it that way, so I'm maybe only a smidge itty bitty bit interested in a .45 Commander platform.

So I've got money, and I've got a target desire. How do I go about exchanging one for another these days? Big box stores have jack diddly. LGS's have less...

Gun broker? I got my .45 from GunBroker. It was shipped to an ffl of my choosing within days. It was pretty slick, but the prices do swing with the market.

I just looked and there are a ton of your desired pistols avialable for about 850. Not sure if thats hiked upor not, but they are pretty avialable in that market.

Is it? I just checked Gun Broker and found a single listing for the Commander. Saw a few officer models, but I'm not sold on those. I've never used Gun Broker, so I wasn't super sure about getting in on that.

Ahh, I just looked ruger sr1911s in a 9mm. Didnt think of the commander trim on it.

As for GB, its pretty legit. Just cant use pay pal for payment. You need to watch the sellers too. My first seller was just a guy, who wanted me to venmo him the money and assured me he'd ship the gun. I filed a complaint stating it was "fishy" and gb was quick to ban his account.

Second guy I attempted to buy from was a legit gun store. Paid with a credit card on the gb site ( carries a cc fee), and had the gun in hands fast.

Just watch what their accepted forms of payment are, and try to buy from someone who has an ffl.
