I forgot the proud boys did that until I saw this post. MCB and esoteric paintball folk have been wearing Hawaiian stuff before the peanut butter boys were in the news so I’m claiming firsties

If it's optics that concerns you, the misuse/abuse of paintball equipment by all three sides of that tribalism-triangle shit-show should probably be higher up on the list than Hawaiian shirts imho.

I didn't even realize that was a thing yet. I thought they always color-coordinated with black and gold on their 'girls' night out'. Anyway, you're probably fine. Half my dad's wardrobe is Hawaiian shirts and he hasn't mentioned catching any flack for it yet.

MAr He's more of a straw hat, shorts and sandals kind of guy. If you saw him rolling up, one of the last things you'd be thinking is "Ok, this guy is going to start some shit..."

I wouldn't worry about it. The Hawaiian shirt is grandfathered in for us. Honestly they are pretty much everywhere in paintball, we even have a local team who wears them (and are unaware of MCB). The Proud Boys may as well have claimed blue jeans or socks.
