Nancy's Brain Cancer Battle - an Update

Man, to think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed because of some much more trivial personal issues. This gut punch of an update made me cry, then made me realize just how lucky I am to have what I have today.

I am so, so sorry to read this Jebus. we dont know eachother, but I feel ya deserve a hug if I ever meet you man. Going through this fight to lose the love of your life is my absolute worst nightmare.

I cant even imagine what it feels like, but I am here for you if you need a stranger to talk to.


I know thwre isnt much I can do to comfort you, but if you think of something, Ill be happy to help.

Many Prayers to you and your family...This morning, I found my wife Lesley crying uncontrollably, she had been reading all your updates, and Nancy's story so parallels her own Cancer battle, she just broke down for almost 15 minutes. She finally let me hold, comfort and console her, for the first time in several months (any touch is painful for her). I hated to have to go to work, and leave her thinking about what is happening to herself and others, but my Daughter was able to drop both of my Granddaughters off, to stay with and keep an eye on their Grandmother for awhile. This particular day has seemed to hit her harder than most, especially when she hears about other's struggles..

My thoughts are with you Jebus. I lost my grandmother back in January, she finally succumbed to Dementia and a brain tumour they only found when she went to the hospital after a fall in August. I understand how you're feeling I still cry every day over my grandmother. If you ever need a listening ear I'm only a pm away. I'll be contributing to the GoFundme when I have some spare cash next week. Cancer can go F itself with a red hot fireplace poker!
