I hate when I’m cooking and someone tells me how I should be seasoning. If I’m at the stove, I’m running the show.

I don't normally comment on my wife's cooking, but when she straight-up asks about it I'm usually honest. May as well be. If I simply say it's good she goads me into an honest response. Then she criticizes me and says I can cook next time. It's truly unwinnable for me.

I have been known to tell people to "get out of my kitchen".

To be fair I won't tell you how to cook a dish in your kitchen. I'll STFU, and lend whatever help you require.

My favorite story is of a pretentious member of the family telling another that his grill spatula was too dirty (from normal soot and such), so this legend says nothing as he takes a couple of steps to the side and proceeds to rinse the spatula off in the fish pond before going back to flipping burgers.

Laundry... not mine particularly, but it just never ends... sounds silly but it takes so much time and energy, then it never gets put away properly and I'm doing it all over again.

Man I feel this on a core level. I'm the primary domestic person in my relationship and it's just my wife and I and I still somehow feel like I'm doing 4-6 loads of laundry every week. I'm considering nudism just to save some friggin' time.

Oh god, laundry. I didn't mind it before, but it's part of my day job now.
You'd honestly be surprised how many scrubs, sheets, and towels an autopsy suite goes through.

The best way to get more garlic is to tell me you think there's enough already.
-It's not physically possible, in my experience, to put "too much" garlic in something.

OMG not the cars.... THE MOTORCYCLES. I had one dufuss with like 8 of the Finnnggg things pointed DIRECTLY AT MY FREAKING EYES. 8 strobes in 6500k blue light just BLINDING The F out of me in the middle of the day.

Dood... you want me to see you great... you want me to not swerve in my lane as I immediately lose all vision?

They BANNED underside lighting on cars... that glow softly... onto the ground. But these "safety" lights... bullshit.

The self appointed bright light/high beam police. I rarely use my high beams and get people flashing their brights at me all the time. Using lights to blind the person driving towards you really isn't a bright move.

There are a lot of car lighting problems today.

                1. automatic DRL's people confuse for headlights at night time, so they leave their proper night lighting off and the tail lights stay dim.
                2. Insane bright LED and HID headlights that are extremely bright at the edge of the light make everyone hit by the lights feel like they are being flashed. So when you hit a bump, the person in front of you or in oncoming lane thinks you flashed them or have high-beams on. Somehow they are approved for road use in the usa but man, they mess with everyone.

worse is that the people are dropping cheap LED bulb replacements into their lights without verifying that they are leveled appropriately. Most of them are just driving around with everyone catching the super bright portion.

One time I just got annoyed so I just kept PMing them back saying "Still interested" (after they'd said I'll take it) and after about 5 PM's they had the audacity to respond: "Take the hint bro, I'm not interested anymore."

You if you got buyers remorse already then sell it when it arrives, but at least apologize and act like you mean it instead of ghosting the person and then actually getting annoyed at them because of something YOU brought on by committing then backing out.

i have a 45min commute (at best) each way. i have realllly come to hate other motorists lol
                      mainly headlight related issues.
LED drop in bulbs in reflector style housings, LED light bars, and strobe brake lights.

i can deal with getting cut off so long as the person was actually in a rush or is just a speed driver and actually takes off.
what i cant stand is getting cut off and then going the exact speed limit or slower.

tailgating i dont even really mind. im not in the far left lane (just go around). i flip my mirror up and continue on my way as if they're not there.

I have a similar commute and similar complaints, and since buying an automatic-transmission'd car I have found myself to be a much more chill driver. I go in the middle or right lane, I drive between 65-75 and I enjoy my music and podcasts. If someone else wants to be a ding-dong that's their prerogative, I am simply a leaf in the river.

You know what really grinds my gears? When you ask a very specific question on a forum or equivalent, and get answers from people who clearly didn't read the whole question.

Example: I asked a question about how to work with a specific guitar for a specific tuning (switching between drop tuning and standard on a floyd rose guitar, for those who care). I made it very clear I was only interested in changing one string, and I get tons of comments about using digital detuning pedals, using capos, etc. Or my favorite, just buy another guitar. Goshdangit if you're going to respond, make sure you're answering the question I asked.

3 months later, and hopefully you found your answer. If not, maybe this will help. Drop tuning one string may not change the bridge tension and mess with the full tune, but if it did, add a little tension to the bridge springs, under the back cover. Floating bridge setups are neat, but can be a finicky if you want to change tunes on-the-fly. I used a ruler to balance springs and strings with those things. Keep the bridge parallel with the body, check for wear at the pivot points and keep an eye on neck tension or twist if you drastically change tuning. Depending on how far you want to detune, you might get away with using the fine tuners on the bridge instead of loosening the nut and adjusting the peg. It’s a balanced tension system, and easy to understand after messing with different setups. I always used set everything at a halfway point. If it won’t tune, bridge springs are usually the culprit, unless the body is severely cracked, neck tension is way off, or worn tuning pegs.
