Facebook Groups: What can my 'Friends' See?

So obviously if I post in a public Facebook group anybody who visits that page will be able to see it. But if I make a post in a public group, will it pop up in my my friends' feeds?

Don’t use Facebook you’re better off selling shit at a loss on this site and taking eBay fees when stuff doesn’t move here fast enough.

trust me you will wind up quitting the sport

    trust me don’t do it.

can’t say it enough. It’s bad for you man.

It all depends on your settings, I think you can have it show friends every time you post, or only everytime you start a post. But yeah, quit the book. Lol

Yes, friends can see that and it may pop up in their feed. There is no way to prevent this since it is a public group.

Yes, your friends will see anything you post in your Fursuit Enthusiasts group. But more importantly, Zuck Sees All

I love how this was immediately hijacked into an anti-metaverse thread

yeah, if it's a public group then your friends might see your post. It's super dumb, I wish every interest group on FB was private by default. If I'm geeking out talking shop about paintball stuff, I don't like friends who aren't interested seeing it. It's like having people oversee your conversation with someone else. Just feels nosy. I keep seeing my friend's post in a group about crypto currency, and I have absolutely no interest in seeing it.

If it's a public group they'll see it, if it's a private group then no AFAIK

I appreciate all the concern and hyperbole. Many of you will be happy to know that I'm asking this question as part of my effort to remove myself from social media.

Oh also only a select few friends really sees your post … it isn’t going to pop in most of them. Isn’t it like capped at 20?

I use FB only for BST. It's unavoidable since it's basically replaced Craigslist. I have 0 friends on there and use an alias.

With that in mind, maybe you could create a second account that you use only for BST?
