In Flanders' fields the poppies blow

Thank you for posting this remembrance. I have two great uncles buried in France from "The Great War." My father was a member of "The Greatest Generation" serving in the European theater. He could still fit into his army issued jacket. Men (and women) of his generation served so that, hopefully, men like me never had to make that sacrifice.

We lost him in a house fire on November 11, 1995. It is a rare Veterans Day that I do not tell him thanks at some point during the day.
