    Deathwish Coffee???

Hello, One of my former peers offered me "Deathwish" coffee this morning. He said it has 4X the caffeine of most coffees. I thanked him and passed. Has anybody tried this coffee?

      Its just robusto coffee.

Nearly all "premium" coffee sold is Arabica beans, Arabica has a milder, more pleasant taste. Robusto is cheaper to produce, and is usually used to make instant coffee, coffee flavorings, syrups for specialty drinks, ice coffees, etc.

Lots of coffee shops are carrying "hyper caffeine" coffee now, but its just robusto beans. Nothing all that crazy. You end up paying more for a cheaper product.

Agreed. Normal, fresh coffee has plenty of caffeine for me.

I'll stick with Arabica beans. I like to taste my coffee each morning. I've pretty much got my ritual down from grinding the beans to dosage, time, temperature, and so on.

One of the coffees we/in-laws always bring back after visiting Brazil is a robusto with about that much caffeine. It gives me a slight headache if I have more than two cups, but I'm a caffeind.

I've had it before. Meh, its just coffee and I couldn't tell you if it had any more caffeine in it than a normal cup just by drinking it. Not impressed.

We have taken a liking to flavored coffees but we cut out the flavored creamer crap. Just sugar and half & half. But if I will drink darn near any kind of coffee. Sitting out on the counter all day? Rumored to be powdered caffeine dyed brown? Dollar store brand? Crappy dealership waiting area coffee? Sure. If I need a fix, lets party.

I enjoy the taste of Deathwish coffee; I don't care about the caffeine content.

I just got a couple of bags. I like it actually for both flavor and caffeine. It definitely tastes different and stronger than most coffee - I typically by bags of whole bean from Costco for simplicity. I grind and run through espresso machine and definitely notice additional caffeine.

I was gifted some last Christmas. I drank it, but I wouldn't buy it.

I bought some last year to try, it was stronger than what I was used to drinking for sure which was fine if itโ€™s what you want. Good beans, just wasnโ€™t my favorite flavor or roast at the end of the day. I feel like it would be great for iced coffee that gets a little watery, or for people who are too calm and need some jitters.

My boss brings it in every now and then. I had some the first time he got it, it was just too much for me.
After drinking a cup, I literally couldn't think straight and couldn't hold my hand still. I'll stick to my tea

I've had good luck with beans from https://www.javapresse.com/, works well in my Moka pot and Keurig.
