Sorry I’ve been MIA. I lost my Dad a few months back and I’ve been a train wreck since. He went unexpectedly and I held his hand when he passed. I was always his shadow, it’s going to be tough going at it alone.

I do want to thank those who reached out to me.

If you still have your Dad, let him know how much he means to you (if you haven’t already), I’d give anything for one more conversation.

I’m so sorry to hear. My dad just had a 10hr cancer surgery. It's hard to see these things happen to our father figures.

As a father, I guarantee, despite anything else going on at that moment, he was smiling inside holding your hand while he passed; I can't think of anything else I would want at that time.
