    Was cruising IG and saw a PMI Pursuit Helmet.

    Like the title says. I was cruising IG and found this vid re-uploaded on a meme page.

    Looks like simunition training, but one of the guys is wearing what looks to be a PMI Pursuit helmet.

    I wanna know where he got it and who told him it's safe to wear. I wouldn't trust one to survive a few airsoft BBS, let alone a sim round.

    Unfortunately no credit was given, so I can't just reach out to the OP and get him informed.

    Just wanted to share my disbelief.

      I have one of these, with two lenses. Both cracked. Heck, it even says it's not rated for impacts right on the lens. You were supposed to wear these over another, better, set of goggles.

      Which no one ever seemed to do.

      Man, it's hard to believe anyone ever thought these were a good idea.

              A few questions:

              1. What is IG?
              2. What are they playing? airsoft?
              3. If playing airsoft, then normal safety glasses underneath the pursuit helmet would be acceptable then, correct?

              They definitely aren't safe, but I do like the look of the mask/helmet.

                  He's clearly not wearing regular glasses underneath, regardless, the plastic for that lens is like 30 years old and not remotely safe anymore.

                      I've seen proper simunition helmets that look like this. Based on what I heard about the pursuit mask, I don't think it would have lasted this long.
