Hey there watch nerds. Brining this topic back.

I recently had enough of my Apple Watch controlling/monitoring my movements all day and night so I made the switch to a watch that won't ping me with crap from work or remind me to add entries to my life journal.

To that end, I picked up a Dan Henry 1975 39mm and I feel like I got really lucky how much I love this thing considering I bought it without trying it on and they have a pretty strict return policy.



Any other suggestions for watches in this size? Maybe it's the Apple Watch baggage but in my browsing I really prefer quartz to mech movements.

Some really nice watches here.

I wear a smartwatch at work (galaxy watch 4) and a nice-ish Lorus on the weekend, so nobody from work can call me. Smartwatch for 2 reasons, 1 I've found the health stuff really works and I'm definitely more active, and 2 I don't miss important calls or messages.

If you want the health stuff while still wearing your watch, suppose that's what something like the new galaxy ring would be for.

Anyway here's a $29,000 watch in my colours. Thank you and yes please, and no, there's no way in hell I'd spend that on a watch even if I had a few million laying about.
