Aww yes, Summer is finally here

I've been enjoying the 70'F+ days here in Virginia. It has been exceedingly pleasant and I'm really looking forward to spending more time outside.

Virginia has some of the best weather I've ever experienced in the whole universe. I thought I'd share with you some of the best days I am having down here in little ol' Virginia, the temperate climate state.


This is following a very warm 78'F preceding day, leading up to this magnificent Spring afternoon.



It eventually dropped in temperature again, we had some rain, a few blustery days, but that was to be expected in mid Spring. Can't wait to share the start of Summer with you all.

Actually today, 4/18, is following a particularly pleasant weekend and previous week. The sun was out and really driving the Summer expectations home. I can't wait to get in a few games of paintball.

Just look at this stunning view, can't you picture spending time out on the deck grilling with your friends with a nice warm breeze on your face?





Oh sorry... I was hallucinating again. Virginia why do you do this to me?

Time to get my fireplace up and roasting again. I hope I rolled all my windows up.

I feel your pain... the PNW just got hit with the same. Was 75*, sunny and perfect... then 3 days later I woke up to foot of snow at my house. Just gave me more time to keep testing and tuning guns for the playing season!

I just got back from visiting friends in Montana, it was in the 70's before we arrived but i brought along some snow for them...
Thankfully the sun decided to melt it all away while we were there.

Got a sunburn doing yard work last Wednesday. Near freezing last night.

We are in that annoying new england loop of 60's+ all week and then it rains on the weekend so you can't play ball.

April showers bring May flowers. My basement Sump pump has been working overtime.

I'm in Ohio. It was 70* Friday, 65* yesterday, and now it's snowing.

We've been getting teased as well. We would get like two days of 50*F+ followed up with mid-30s & snow. But that's par for the course in WI. I don't bank on any nice weather until May. As long as I get my vegetables in the ground & bushes trimmed by Memorial Day.
