    I don't need this

Seriously. I have too many screwdrivers already. And it's 75 Euros. But damn, I want it.

Just watch the video. And try not to get hypnotized by that voice.

Let me make you something. I build pneumags, auto-response frames, and wooden pill cases.

That is suuuuper cool. But st that price... I'll probably just stick to my $10 harbor freight driver set.

    But...

    Man it's just super cool.

      I think I need that.

It's a fidget spinner, for adults... like a revolver.

As the video eludes to, I don’t need that.

I need bits that will not round out and fastener broaches and heads that will not round out.

Its neat, but that’s like fancy sunglasses, cars, shoes, electronics, etc. I need those like I need another hole in my head. Something to show off with. The cost increase would never offset the productivity significantly, if at all.

I can’t remember the last time I used a driver and thought “man if only this driver felt orgasmic in my hands, then I could take these screws out in an impossible-to-measure-how much-better method.” But I can’t remember that thought because as a logical person, I’ve never had it.

This one's only marginally safer when one's been drinking though... "Honey, someone took my car apart. Wouldn't happen to have been you, would it?"

This shows up at a point where I am trying to replace cheap tools with ones that will last... so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that I buy one. Help their little Kickstart campaign.

At almost $100 for a screwdriver set... they are only marginally more expensive than Snap-On tools, and slightly less expensive than whatever the government wastes taxpayer's money on.

              Plus, it's brass...

As a machinist for 10 years and one who dissects motorcycles for giggles: I don't get it.

Why would they use a radial bearing instead of a thrust bearing?

Other than that one nit pick, pretty cool, and I want it. I won't get it, but I want it as a fidget thing.

It's not supposed to be exposed to thrust... didn't you watch the video? The mesmerizing voice says that it provides all the weight necessary to drive a screw. Lol.

I'm kidding... obviously you are going to encounter situations that require you to invert or tilt the driver to the point where you have to provide the force.

A thrust bearing would have been the proper application.

David, I actually expected that exact comment, so thank you for not disappointing XD

Seems fun, but I turn my own handles for ratcheting screwdrivers for a fraction of the cost, and I get a nicer hand feel and more ergonomic grip.

That's a wonderful senior project video. Oh wait...it's serious? Wow, $500k backing on Kickstarter... holy crap. What a grift. Kickstarter price is $90 for one driver with 24 bits. I'm betting the whole thing is made in China from the cheapest junk available, maybe assembled in Italy so they can argue the "made in Italy" claim.

And did you see how quickly that ceramic bearing stopped spinning? lol. Garbage. This also means it cannot handle an impact.

"The passivization finishing process is a chemical treatment that makes it virtually immune to corrosion." Am I the only one that thinks defining passivization in the video is insulting to the viewer as it assumes ignorance? And why not state the treatments specifically? Ugh.

0/10. I'd relentlessly harass anyone that uses this. Might even epoxy the magnet out of a transformer around a screw driver so I can spin along side them while holding screws and bits on the handle.

I've rarely met a screw that drove in that easily, and that's after 20+ years of fixing my own vehicles, carpentry, machine operating, fixing/modifying mine and others paintball guns, as well as 10+ years of home ownership and all that entails(I can assemble IKEA furniture without swearing). That driver is no more than a gimmick that will mostly stay in the tool box occupying space that could harbor better tools.
