A Giants ticket can be had for $40.

I thought this accounting looked fishy, but current pricing thru the Giants and ballpark website was pretty spot on to the OP spreadsheet.

      Anything special about your ticket?

You got me. I just think it’s a rip off and made up some numbers. $500 mortgages aren’t unheard of.

Those numbers are not right. Last time I went to a Jays game it was $10/beer, definitely not $4.33.
My tickets were free but without a special deal I don't think you're getting a ticket in the nosebleeds for less than $80, let alone an "average" price of $32.

Are these prices from the 80's and just changed it to claim 2022?

Jays tickets are cheap. I just looked and you can sit in the lower section behind home plate for $56 CAD. It looks like they are still doing loonie dog nights as well still. A similar ticket would cost you over $150 USD at Fenway.

I totally agree with your point.

That's a cheap ass mortgage payment.

I go to a few Red Sox games a year and the only way you are parking for less than $40 is if you park a mile away at the Prudential Center and walk. The last time I parked there it was $20 if you showed your game ticket while paying. Or you park outside the city and take a train in. That would cost $10 and then $5 for the train and a 30 min ride each way.

When I went in April parking was $60-80 at most of the lots close to Fenway.

Here is a quick breakdown of what I spent in April.

          Ticket, $100
          Parking, $80 split 4 ways, $20 each
Eating at restaurant outside of park before game, $50, this was a burger and 3 beers
New hat from team gift shop, $40
Beer inside Fenway, $12.50 each, I had 4, $50. This was for craft beer. I believe domestic beers were $10. Mixed drinks were $12.50 as well.
Bag of peanuts, I think it was $5
          Dinner after the game, $30
Right on Overland St it's 60 bucks on game day. I've been working on a jobsite on Overland street and I park there daily. The lot is literally to the right of 20 Overland St.

Now I remember why I don’t go to pro sports events. It’s just too damn expensive for what you get. I purchased two round trips tickets to Santiago, Chile last year for the price a family pays for an outing. Yeah, it was a mistake fare but the memories will last much longer than a ballgame.

              Players' salaries driving entry prices?
Batting 300 out of a thousand might be great in baseball, but if I performed my job that efficiently, I wouldn't have it for long.

You may or may not have somebody (or a team of somebodies) actively attempting to keep you from being efficient at your job.
