I've got a neat shrubbery outside that just won't seem to die no matter how many times i cut it down... could be a good Bonsai candidate.

Does a bonsai tree have to be in a pot on a table in order to be considered bonsai?

Now that you mention it we have holy bushes outside the new house. I hate the prickly damn things but they are great enough that they might be good practice.
