    its not like that. lol

    think of a needle on a record player... it travels from one spot all the way around to the other. now put a picture of the US at one side and China at the other. (Antarctica is in the center). the needle will pass through the US and China over and over without lifting off the record.

    thats how flat earthers view the world.

              There's a significant contingent north of Dallas. One of em went up in a homebuilt rocket, supposedly to disprove it... declared the trip inconclusive.

              Some people just need something to believe... that gives them an excuse to argue with everyone else. To be fair, it's good science to always have a counterpoint. (Also, bad science to ignore inconvenient evidence...)

                Say what you want, that DIY rocket dude got others to pay for this rocketry hobby. haha He was definitely nuts to put himself in that thing, though.

                    @bored383

                    I KNOW I'm sane; it's everyone else that's nuts. I tell myself this everyday. The voices never agree on the time of day, though.

                  I don't find it worthwhile to ever disabuse someone of their false beliefs. I would rather have idiots self identify.

                  that is unless they expect me to adopt said false beliefs. then they can all kick rocks

                    I o appreciate your enlightened approach, however idiots vote. Look at how many still feel that socialism is a good idea, for example.
