          The distance between them seems like it’s off as well.

          it looks like someone saw wall shelf brackets and thought, ”damn, I need to re-invent that” and then designed it on an etch-a-sketch

            They do look nice, I gotta admit. Maybe this is for a rarely used / small loft or something?
            Minor downside tho is that if you fall going down them your head will be ripped/cut clean off.

              As an [almost] architect, that's a hell yeah for me!! Obviously gotta get them up to code though.

              The only problem I have with it is the idea that an architect designed that. At least here in America, less than 2% of houses are designed by an architect.
