    Ken Block dies.

Definitely loved life in the fast lane! Sad day for motor sports.

The rally racer, X Games champion, co-founder of DC Shoes and Hoonigan Industries, and star of the Gymkhana video series was 55 years old.

I was really bummed to hear the news of this tonight. On his Instagram earlier today he showed the sleds covered in a fresh powder like he was about to go out for a ride. Very sad for his family and the Hoonigan's.

Between him and Schumacher...think I'm staying away from winter sports for a LONG time.

Truly stunned when I heard this. Gymkhana stuff was never my cup of tea, but the man was undoubtedly an icon in motorsports.

From what I understand it wasn't even anyrhijg crazy he was doing, just a roll over traversing a hill. Sometimes you forget how easy it is.

            RIP to a real one.

and then there whistlendiesel who literally gets run over by a tank buggy in the snow while filming on a snowmobile; comes out unscathed.

You know what, Block lived life. I was super sad to hear of his passing. But you can’t say he didn’t enjoy life. He lived in that fast lane pushing the limits every chance he got and Traveled the world doing what he loved. The guy was a true legend behind the wheel. He died doing something he loved what more could you ask for. I walked that turn on Pikes Peak the one he drifted the HoonCar rear tire off it’s insane! Block had balls of steel and he push limits and lived to tell the tail many many times. Death Finally caught up RIP Block, RIP

All the things Ken block has done and accomplished and something so simple brought his life to an end…. it’s crazy all the stunts and risks he took, this is what hurt him the most.

veing a sledded myself, this caught me off guard so quick as it’s something so simple that could happen sledding and it could happen to the most experience rider too, take care of yourself out there on the mountains boys and girls! RIP to a legend that had an amazing crowd and following!

The Gymhkana all seemed a little too staged, but I LOVED Blocks rally racing. His racing style is the "wreckers or checkers"... meaning, either he is going to win, or crash. Not very subtle
