      Up until very recently an Air Guard unit here in Atlanta was utilizing these still. We lived nearby and would see them sitting out on the tarmac from time to time.

          one of my memories as a kid was being on Andrews AFB and watching a pair of F4 Phantoms take off side by side, full afterburner. the noise was epic and glorious
