Upgrades? Speed wheels, I believe doc sells some, there are some barrel kits that were made. Not sure if you can still buy them. A member here had an all metal internal upgrade kit. Freak bored I thought...

This happened to me with one of Bacci's 007's at a SoCal stock game. Beat up, barrel extension full of rust, but damn if it didn't shoot straight as an arrow. I've never shot so many people on snapshots as I did that day.

Last I played with (as in "fiddled around with in the shop", I haven't fired a Splatty in anger in years ) a Splatmaster, I noticed the barrel was somewhat warped. A little bent and a touch out of round- I think the plastics are aging and have outgassed enough at this late date, that they're getting a little wonky.

Of course, that's a total sample size of, like, one, so take it with a lot of salt.

If you really want to level-up your Splatty..? The man you seek is definitely Kit . This is his Splatmaster drop in kit. I'm not sure if any are currently available but, you might be able to nudge him towards making another run.

Member KIT made a full internal swap with a freak bore barrel. Mines a tack driver and you can easily pump it with one hand. Should have built a 2nd one to run Dual setups.

Local stock-class hero Kurt won this custom Splatmaster as a "Bounty prize" for shooting Packers two or three different times at the Stocktoberfest event at AG last year. It had all the bells and whistle. It was donated by Yoda, and looked similar to the one Chuckie was using - same CCI bucket changer set up and custom internals at least. I have no idea how it shoots though.

I was lucky enough to dual wield Hugh’s splatties one game at AG. So much fun. The advice he gave me was don’t aim. Just shoot. Worked great. I got a pair of eliminations and a bunch of laughs

I have one splatmaster that just works. Not great, but not terrible . . . I give it a rating of 3.6

the only mods it has are an old school speed wheel, some sharpied on camouflage, and I removed all the lead weights from it. it shoots fragile paint like ultra evil really well

If you contact MCB member Kit and are nice to him you can get one of his drop im lots for these. I have the velocity adjuster and barrel portion of his kit,a 3d printed figure 8 courtesy of grendal50 , a custom valve and bolt set up from markdem and one of Doc's speedwheels on mine. Prior to rehoning the barrel it was shooting to the left a little bit but was shooting in the 280 range consistently I haven't had a chance to test it since I rehoned it

They are real steel grips you can get them on Amazon. They fit over and are just rubber, you can get them with or without finger grooves. I got one like that on my Emek forgrip. Actually a good idea for the splaty.

It's just a grip for a Smith & Wesson M&P that they sell at Cabela's. But you can order them online pretty easy through Amazon and countless other sources.
