growing up my father would smoke cigars. he made good $ but always smoked fairly cheap cigars though.
never really understood that growing up. if he had the money and appreciated cigars, why not buy good ones?

later in life he explained to me that it was a sacrifice he made in order to spend the money doing things with my brother and i; rather than spending it on cigars. i got it but it didnt click until i had kids of my own and found myself rocking invicta diver watches... i really enjoy watches and although i could swing something like an Orient or Longines; i find myself spending the $ doing things with my 2 boys.
