Rangers force game 7 & the Maple Leafs are going to round 2. Good for you Maple Leaf fans.

Watched the Rangers/Devils last night. Couple game 7s tonight. Going to try to watch at least one of them.

Saw the injury to Cogliano. I don’t know much about the NHL and it’s rules & policies, but something screams bullshit in how that whole situation was handled. People seem pretty up in arms over it, at least over on the NHL Reddit page. Can anyone give some insight and/or context?

That hit was pretty bad. In the numbers, hard into the boards. Only mitigating factor was the guy made the mistake of looking at the puck in his feet. With his head up it wouldn’t have been as horrible. Should have been a suspension. Wondering if the hit the game before the took McCann out played a role? Avs only got a one game suspension. Regardless though. Should have been a suspension.

Cdn_Cuda Yeah, that’s pretty much what I saw. But I’m not familiar with all the rules/policies or the intricacies of hockey or the NHL, so I don’t always know what’s BS or not. Trying to learn, though.

Panthers won in OT. Switching over to the Colorado/Seattle game.

Florida had an epic comeback. Tying the game with less than a minute left. Hope Seattle takes their game too. Will make playoff quite interesting.

Would have never guessed Boston, Tampa, and Colorado ousted in the first round.

      I love playoff hockey.

Gotta root for the VGK. Played pretty shit pre playoffs IMHO, or at least at a majority of the games I've been this year, but they did have the juice last Thursday when I went.

I gotta say. That Bruins game was nuts. The fans had 0 energy. They'd celebrate for 3 seconds and not a person would move in that stadium. Even when they were ahead. That was probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

And I've been to a game in Germany where my team was smashing the other so hard (8-0) that we started cheering for the opposite team and their fans started cheering for us. It was wild.

HUGE WIN!! Canes are next !!!

Yeah, the Rangers just couldn't get anything going. The Devils were all over the place, just going ham. That young goaltender of theirs was cool as a cucumber too.

It’s amusing how hard it is for most of the media to say the devils played well. The only two people I’ve seen attribute Nj’s success to Nj are Messier and Lundquist.
Funny that it’s only the players willing to admit that it wasn’t just the rangers being bad, and New Jersey actually played well and deserved the win.
They had a franchise record season, They were third in the league. Now we passed the first round. It’s not a fluke lol, you can say it out loud.

They finally have good healthy tendies, they have the speed and the determination. This team was built to win..

Coming from where they were last season to this season it's really amazing feat!

Carolina is going to be a tough team to beat, we've been at their heals all season long. It'll shape up to be a good set of game.

            These young boys are hungry!

Hope the Leafs have a better time in game 2. Watching Dallas/Seattle now. Like I said, I’m new to hockey, so I don’t know how I feel about the Stars. But they have Pavelski, so…

Fun fact: Joe Pavelski’s hometown is Plover, WI, 20 minutes away from me.

gotta give credit to the devils, they adjusted as a team after the first 2 loses.
                  boston going out kinda sucks
as long as the leafs get their faces smashed in it will be okay

Not NHL but AHL and my local team the Hartford Wolfpack leads the best of 5 series 2 to 1 in the Calder cup playoffs. Next game this Friday.

AHL is a fun time and going to games doesn’t require a mortgage, left leg, or firstborn. We’re close to the phantoms and a couple hours for the Hershey bears and they’re both great arenas.

Chappy Yea total blast going to these games. My son and I go all the time. I get seats on glass and they are very affordable. We have traveled to pretty much every arena in the North east just to watch all the teams. The Bears are leading their series and the Phantoms are down 1. The Wolfpack should advance and square off against one of them should they win as well.
