Yes. May 14th is the day Velcor sent the prophet Chad Thompson to MCB to challenge us by asking to change his name. However the Great Mystery Carter Brown Painthappy recognized Velcor’s test and would not deny Chad Thompson. Thus we celebrate the Great Arrival on said day.
Now legend has it that the Great Arrival happened prior to the day of birth, and this is further proof of Velcor’s divine power. But the details were lost in the loss of the Old Knowledge and such details remain unclear.

Now wait a minute, I will concede that, the 14th of May, was possibly the day of Velcor's challenge. But, IIRC and to clear things up a little, that was not the 1st day of the prophets arrival to MCB. And in fact, the Great Mystery Carter Brown Painthappy did deny the prophets name change and instead named the day after as "Chad Thompson Day" to appease Velcor.

Chad started the matter with a thread on May 11th, 2014 asking about a username change, but May 14th commemorates the anniversary of the day that painthappy pulled perhaps the ultimate troll by changing the name of the website for a day, and by setting the site filter so that every use of the word "paintball" was replaced by "Chad Thompson".

Further shenanigans ensued. A good time was had by all.
