Market place car shopper's 99% of the time are just window shopping...And since they cant touch or feel it, ask 100 questions .

Selling low priced cars is hard. They all want it to run and drive like a $5k car but only pay 800. It's ridiculous. I sold a 78 Honda motorcycle a while back and had a similar experience. The guy that finally took it came out with a truck and cash. He looked it over and bought it. The rest just wanted to come take a look with no interest in buying. Didn't help I had a 79 MG Midget too. They would show up and talk about the car almost as much as the bike. I finally closed my garage every time someone came out to look at the bike so they could try and focus for 5 minutes. Good luck with selling it. The right person will come along.

My wife listed a large chain link dog kennel for free, pick up in person/no delivery, on Facebook marketplace just to get it out of our backyard.

She got MANY messages asking us to deliver it for free, in some cases to locations several hours away. 🙄
