Nostalga for a cover band is a real thing?

There is a special place in hell for whoever programs that YouTube AlGoresRythem. This one showed up on my feed this week... I had no idea there was such a thing as reunion tours for British girl cover bands. I never heard of these people when they were popular, so why subject me to them now? Who is the group? Atomic Kitten.

That looks like karaoke, not a band…

I've yet to figure out the difference between cover, tribute, and knock off.

Cover bands cover whatever. Tribute bands focus on a band or style . Knock offs rip off other songs for their own, most rock bands fall in this category đŸ¤ª

One is s***. The other can be good, and knock offs are just are sad. There are a few pink floyd tribute bands that tour the world and are very popular. Thing is most of them have two or three guitarists. And they still don't sound as good as the records with good headphones or speakers. Just makes David Gilmour even more of guitar god. (Yes I know about Snowy White). .
RESPECT ME AND MY PINK RIMS!!!

When I was in the Army stationed in Germany in the late 90's and early 2000's Atomic Kitten was out. "You can make me whole again" is one song I remember from them from that time frame.

Let's see, Emma Bunton, Sarah Connor and S Club 7 were popular as well. Not from Britain, and not a group, Sylver and Fragma were quite popular.

The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup was immensely popular around that time as well, especially in Spanish speaking countries. There is an English version as well as a Spanish one. It's ridiculous. Don't listen to it.
